The MAMA’S BEST FRIEND Manifesto

I DREAM OF A WORLD where parents trust their intuitive abilities, kids never question their ‘rents unconditional love, and families work & play together — for life.

Wait, DREAM of a world?

We’re BUILDING that world.

With my wisdom, experience & boundless support for parenting vision.
With your commitment & faith in my abilities — as well as your own.
With our partnership, comradery & full-tilt baby-lovin’.

We’re changing what it means to be a parent — and be parented.
To be a caregiver — and get cared for.
To anchor your independence — by asking for what you need.
To serve the whole world — by showing up for your baby.

I BELIEVE we can do this.

And I believe it can be fluid, freeing, empowering…and FUN.

Come along for the ride — for a month, a year or a lifetime.

This is your baby. This is your legacy.

Oh, and yes — there will be cookies.

She is the Mama of Radical Unschooling (the book, the practice and a good deal of the movement) which is all over what you mentioned in your post: attachment parenting and raaadical unschooling. That’s a vision that so needs to become a reality everywhere. A return to community, and kids being really supported and loved – by their parents, their friends’ parents, other *elders* of the community. And everyone working together to help each other thrive and grow these great kids. Count me in!
